Nestled on the banks of the Sheepscot River near historic Wiscasset is Marianmade Farm. As a working lavender and flower farm, the setting brings a piece of Provence to mid-coast Maine.
The farm hosts a select number of weddings and events each year. With a waterfront outdoor ceremony site, a timber frame event barn, and acres of natural beauty, Marianmade Farm serves as the perfect backdrop for your celebration.

May we host a welcome party before our wedding day? Yes! Your rental of our farm offers you access from Friday – Sunday and we’ve had couples host lobster bakes and welcome dinners on our lawn or in the barn prior to their wedding day.
How many guests may I have at my wedding?
Our barn and outdoor ceremony site comfortably seat 140 people, but with our included clear top structure we are able to host weddings of 200+ people.
Is there parking on-site? Yes, we offer parking for up to 50 vehicles. However couples are required to hire a professional transportation / trolley service for the safety of your guests committing from their point of lodging. This also keeps cars out of the fields keeping the natural integrity of the farm unobstructed.
Will we have to bring portable toilets for our guests?
No, our barn was built with weddings in mind. Your guests will have access to two bathrooms at the barn site. The changing cottage next to the barn has a private bathroom reserved for the bridal party.
Will I need to rent tables and chairs for my reception in the barn?
We are happy to provide our handcrafted wood and iron tables for your guests. Our tables seat 140 people. Please peek at our gallery of wedding images for views of these tables. Because chair choices are so varied based on wedding style, we do require you rent your own chairs. We are happy to provide a list of rental companies familiar with our farm.
What vendors may we use?
We do have a list of preferred vendors we are happy to share with couples interested in hosting their wedding at Marianmade Farm. Most of the vendors on our list are carefully selected suggestions. The caterers on our list have worked at our farm before and are skilled at creating a successful events on our property.
We do require use of a Wedding Planner from our preferred vendor list. We have discovered that hosting an event on our farm is nearly impossible without the aid of a dedicated planner who is familiar with our property. In addition to helping you secure the best vendors possible for your wedding + budget, your planner will help facilitate everything from parking, coordination of transportation, generator and septic demands, as well as the overall wellness of our farm.
Are there hotel and rental home options near the farm?
Yes! Mid-coast Maine has lovely homes, inns and hotel options. There are several great options within a 3 mile radius of the farm. Also, Bath and Boothbay offer great spots for visitors to stay. We are happy to direct you to these options during the booking process.
